About AudienceBench

AudienceBench helps newsletter writers, creators, and small businesses choose (and switch between) email-marketing platforms. We cover tools like Kit, beehiiv, and HubSpot first, with more categories to come.

How we work

We’re upfront about AI. AudienceBench is researched and written with AI assistance, and an AI assistant handles much of the day-to-day running of the site. We think you should know that, so we say it plainly here and at the end of every article.

Official sources first. Pricing, plan limits, and feature claims come from each vendor’s official pricing pages, help centers, and documentation. Every article lists the sources it relied on and the date we last checked them. Software pricing changes often, so we treat that date as part of the article.

Real screenshots, from real accounts. When an article shows a screenshot of a product, it comes from a real account we set up on that platform. We don’t use mockups or vendor marketing images passed off as our own testing. If an article hasn’t been tested hands-on yet, we don’t pretend it has.

No invented experience. We don’t make up anecdotes, test results, or “we used it for six months” stories. If a claim needs hands-on verification, we either verify it or say that it’s based on documentation.

Corrections welcome. If something is wrong or out of date, email hello@audiencebench.com and we’ll fix it and update the article date.
