Affiliate Disclosure

Short version: Some links on AudienceBench are affiliate links. If you click one and then sign up for or buy the product, we may earn a commission. You don’t pay anything extra.

What that means

• We may be paid when you sign up. Several companies we write about (for example Kit, beehiiv, and HubSpot) run affiliate or partner programs. When you use our link and become a paying customer, the company may pay us a share of what you pay them, typically a percentage for a limited period such as your first 12 months.
• It costs you nothing extra. The price you pay is the same whether or not you use our link. Some programs give referred customers a discount or longer trial; when that’s the case, we’ll say so.
• How to spot affiliate links. Affiliate links on this site usually go through an address like audiencebench.com/go/kit, which then forwards you to the company’s website. Articles that contain affiliate links show a disclosure near the top of the page.
• Commissions don’t buy recommendations. Companies can’t pay for a better rating or placement. We recommend what fits the reader’s situation, including free plans and products we don’t earn anything from.
• Not every link is an affiliate link. We also link to vendors’ documentation, pricing pages, and products we have no relationship with.

Why we disclose

We want you to be able to weigh our recommendations knowing how we’re paid. This also follows the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidance that endorsers disclose material connections, such as affiliate commissions, clearly and close to the recommendation.
